“Striving for Freedom captures the arduous migration of European settlers carving an existence in the 19th-century American wilderness. The production prioritized tactile historical authenticity without relying on digital shortcuts. Warren Gray hand-drafted comprehensive architectural working elevations and cut-log joinery details for the Settler Log Cabin, followed by supervising its practical construction from local timber. Similarly, he designed and drafted the military outpost stockade fort, with reinforced palisade walls, watchtowers, and defensible gates.”
